More info

The core of this formula is a balanced insect blend - black soldier fly larvae, mealworms, and crickets - offering a robust protein and fat profile. This nutrient‑dense base is complemented by a naturally sweet fruit combination of banana and date, providing both energy and excellent acceptance. The creamy banana and caramel‑like date flavour create a rich, enticing mix that encourages strong feeding responses, even in demanding breeders.

Enriched with essential vitamins, minerals, and beneficial plant ingredients, Gecko Nutrition - High Insects supports healthy egg development, steady growth, and overall reproductive success. Produced in Germany to high quality standards, this diet is ideal for crested geckos and other fruit‑eating geckos requiring additional protein.

Highlights

  • High-protein breeding formula designed for increased nutritional demands
  • Complete gecko diet providing balanced nutrition for all fruit‑eating geckos
  • 21% insect content for optimal amino acid and fat levels
  • Energy‑rich fruit blend of banana and date for excellent palatability
  • No artificial colours and made with high-quality natural ingredients
  • Formulated and produced in Germany under strict quality control
  • Smooth, ketchup-like consistency when prepared correctly

Developed specifically for breeding geckos, this formula avoids unnecessary fillers and instead uses nutrient‑dense ingredients such as whey protein isolate, micellar casein, bee pollen, spirulina, and natural plant sources. The result is a complete, high‑insect diet that fuels reproductive performance, healthy development, and long‑term wellbeing.

Directions

Mix 1 part powder to 2 parts water (by volume). The mixture may appear thin at first but will thicken after several minutes. Adjust the ratio as needed to achieve a smooth, ketchup‑like consistency.

Feed 2–3 evenings per week, depending on your gecko’s feeding behaviour and breeding status. Remove uneaten food within 24 hours.

  • Store opened powder in a cool, dry place
  • Prepared food keeps for 3-4 days refrigerated.

Occasional live insect feedings are recommended but remain optional.
