Changes in UK import regulations for animal‑origin products have caused delays to full commercial Pangea shipments from the US. Pangea are still completing the final stages of the USDA/APHIS approval process required for large‑scale export.

We are now able to receive small, limited shipments, which means we can supply customers with restricted stock while the full approval process continues. Availability will remain limited until full certification is complete, therefore we are still unable to sell to trade customers.

For several years we have absorbed rising product costs and postage fees to keep prices stable. To counter the current shortfall of stock, we have only recently begun flying Pangea into the UK, which is substantially more expensive than our usual boat freight. As a small business, we can no longer continue absorbing these increases, so a small price adjustment has been introduced. Once approval is finalised and we can return to larger, more economical boat shipments, we will review pricing again to ensure it remains as fair and low as possible.
